This client had her mother’s “sweet sixteen gift” watch band that had parts used to create other jewelry over the years. We were designing an engagement ring to use the diamonds from the watch band. I suggested taking the classic setting design from the watch to create her ring. In doing so we created a new piece of jewelry that contains an old story while marking a new milestone.
